I will never be able to put into words how magical this place is. I went by myself for a personal retreat (stayed a week), and it was everything I could have hoped for and more. Lara, Derek and Nate are the sweetest family ever. They are so welcoming and kind.
The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, there are animals galore, trails all over the property, sunny fields for picnics, so close to river access for swimming, a great hike nearby, and be sure to take a farm tour with Lara; I learned so much! The cabin is tiny and cozy and perfect, and the bed is like a soft, cloudy heaven. It was so special to spend almost all my time outside with nature’s wild chorus, the most breathtaking views of the forest and sunsets, and the outdoor kitchen and shower were so lovely. And I can’t even count how many hours I spent on the deck reading and journaling and immersing myself in the surrounding nature. So dreamy. Oh! And don’t forget to purchase eggs, meat and cheese from Derek and Laura… omg YUM. I can’t wait to come back! I just left there today and I miss it already. -Jamie
Derek, Lara, Nate, all the animals, and the cabin are the BEST! Absolutely the best Airbnb experience we've ever had. The cabin and property are beautiful, the full outdoor kitchen and shower are incredible, everything you need has meticulously already been thought of! I strongly recommend the farm tour and dairy/meat offered for purchase via the farm--it is literally impossible that you will be anything but completely delighted in all of these! - Karin

Located in the heart of the farm, The Den is the perfect spot to settle in for a full farm experience. Wake up and watch the cattle grazing out your front door, cozy up in the reading nook with a good book from our farm library , or sit under the stars in our "kiwi lounge."
This fully re-modeled space is the lower level of our family farm house, and is the perfect getaway for a couple or the whole family.

This is one of our top stays of all time! This beautiful family welcomes you to their happy farm and you’re sure to learn a lot alongside getting cuddles from all kinds of sweet animals. The fresh goat’s milk and chèvre is delicious! The accommodations are peaceful, comfy and relaxing. We highly recommend this stay for a truly unique, memorable and nourishing trip. -Erica
If you want to wake up to chickens foraging outside your window; if you want to drink your morning coffee with the pigs; if you want your child to forge a deep kinship with the sweetest farm dog in the world; if you want to learn about farming and artisanal meat; if you want to meet the kindest, most welcoming farmer-hosts in the world... then stay here! We could not have loved Derek and Lara's beautiful place more. We loved eating fresh eggs, still warm from the sun; loved wandering the huge property; loved watching cow and goats getting milked in the morning. I could go on and on!
